DS Doll Quilt Swap

Standard

It’s been busy, busy for me lately. We had a wonderful family vacation and when I came home I had to finish making my doll quilt. We could only use Denise Schmidt fabric (except the background) to make our creations. Here’s mine:

Spring Garden Doll Quilt

I’m very proud of how this turned out. I had a few hiccups along the way, but it all worked out in the end. This was my first time making my own binding and it was easier than I thought! It was hard parting with it, but I had a great swap partner and I hope she loves it. My swap partner is Jayme from Finding Sweetwater. She blogged about making the quilt for me here and has way better pictures of it.

With some of my fabric leftovers, I made this:

I was inspired by Pink Penguin’s awesome pincushions. This one will be up for grabs on Giveaway Day!
