Busy, Busy

Standard

I’ve been working on some new listings for my Etsy shop this week. I had the idea (after the Postage Stamp Block) to make some quilted bookmarks. I have tons of scrap fabric and a seriously short supply of bookmarks. I’m constantly scrounging around for bits of paper to mark my page (I don’t dog ear). So I decided to play around with my scraps and make a quilted bookmark. My first attempt was too floppy, so I cut some cardboard from a cereal box and inserted that. It was not stiff enough, so I decided to see how batting would do. I like the results of the batting, but I’d like to try out some stiff interfacing next. Here’s my quilted bookmark(with batting).

I am finishing up another one and will post a picture soon. I also finished up a reversible headband. This one is my favorite so far. I love PINK.
